1. Eve across multiple monitors? - in Linux [original thread]
It can be done, though, in my experience it doesn't perform that well. (Intel Q8400, 8GB RAM, Geforce GTX 260, Fedora 14.) But here's how you can do it: Simply make EVE launch in an emulated desktop that spans both monitors. You can do this by go...

2. Incursion 1.1.0 crashes after returning from system menu - in Linux [original thread]
Found a solution: It appears that the reason it was crashing had something to do with the game being in Fixed Windowed mode instead of Full Screen (with an emulated desktop in Wine). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to set it to Fullscreen (at 1920x1...

3. Incursion 1.1.0 crashes after returning from system menu - in Linux [original thread]
When I press escape to go to the system menu, everything works fine, but when I try to go back to the game, it crashes on me. I've tried a clean installation of Wine (1.3.10) and I'm still getting the same problem. Anyone else running into this? ...

4. Linux complete noob - in Linux [original thread]
I'm a Red Hat / Fedora guy, myself (and everyone at work are Debian people, so I get no end of ****. ), but I agree with everyone else that Ubuntu is kind of "easy-mode" Linux; it endeavors to be the best, easiest, fastest to setup, as a Windows...

5. EVE + Visual C++ 2005 runtime - in Linux [original thread]
I actually managed to get it working on 1.1.38. I had to compile Wine from source, and I just had to make sure all of the dependencies were satisfied, including a bunch of Xrender libs, and then I just downloaded the latest full offline installer ...

7. EVE + Visual C++ 2005 runtime - in Linux [original thread]
I'm running Fedora 13 x86 PAE with Wine 1.1.38 I had Eve running fine with Tyrannis, but when they released the most recent update I was getting a VC2005 runtime error. So I used winetricks to install vcrun2005, but once I did that, now Eve won't...

8. Wine + Nvidia TwinView - in Linux [original thread]
This appears to be an issue with Wine + TwinView at large, but since it's effecting Eve in my case, I thought I'd bring it up here. I've got Ubuntu 10.04 installed on my machine with an Nvidia GTX 260, and everything runs fine. The only problem i...
